I was having problem with my coolant heating up took it here he said it definitely was a cooling fan replaced for 395$ took it home and was doing the same thing. Took it back several times . No transportation so had to walk 2 miles one way left my car overnight and told them not to do anything to it unless they call cause I am on social security and wasnt sure if I would have enough money. I called over 40 other places to get an estimate for my car. Nobody really knew what they were talking about, gave me no quote or quotes in the 500 range to start- that is if they weren't rude to start with. Dave at Eastside Auto Care immediately knew what i was dealing with, asked clarifying questions and gave me an amazing low rate that he stuck to when i took my car in. more than cars Dave did a great job on my Jeep but I was surprised to seea Big commercial truck in his shop. After referring him to the company I work for they lowered there fleet maintenance costs.Thanks Dave, keep up the good work :)
It is very rare that you can find someone to work on your car (I have a classic 1967 Buick Skylark convertible) and really, REALLY trust them to do what's best for your car and your wallet. Dave Matchett at Eastside Auto Care is that man. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car.
Dave at Eastside Auto is by far the best mechanic I have ever interacted with. He is very nice and honest, and explains mechanical issues clearly. The prices are very good, and he absolutely doesn't overcharge. I have been to some mechanics I thought I liked and trusted before, but after going to Eastside Auto, the bar has definitely been raised.
