Current resident of Heritage Grove in Richmond and approaching 6 months of mold in our kitchen and kids' closet caused by a leaking pipe in the apartment above us. It is now in the floors and it is not being fixed. That's just the issues with this one apartment in this one complex that the company owns. Good luck getting ahold of anyone though. Maybe they'll answer my lawyers calls.
We have live on one of their apartments located in Oakland for about 2 years. The experience was horrible. literally we hear our neighbor's conversation in our bedroom, no wall insulation at all. We hear every foot steps in the apartment complex and every move that someone would make i assure you you will hear it. Air quality is very dusty like we left the window open for half a day because it was getting hot during summer time and our whole bedroom was filthy and covered with dust. We’ve lived in a unit owned by Eastshore for a little over 2 years now. All has been well until I came home from Thanksgiving this year. Our neighbors sewage (shared bathroom plumbing) overflowed into our unit while we were out of town, and I came home to my neighbors sewage on my floor. Come to find out it came through the wall, through our closet, into our second bedroom.
