Very disappointing experience with Eastlake Urgent Care. Unfortunately, this place is extremely disorganized and does not respect patients’ time. I scheduled appointments multiple times, and twice my appointments were canceled because the doctor was unavailable. On another occasion, I arrived 20 minutes early for my scheduled appointment, but after waiting more than 30 minutes, I was told that I needed to go to urgent care instead. I’ve taken my mother to EastLake Urgent Care three times for the same issue: a severe cough that keeps her from sleeping, chest pain, and no relief from OTC medications. Each visit we’ve waited over an hour to be seen. Only one time did she see a doctor—twice she was seen by a nurse/NP who ultimately prescribed medications that are essentially over-the-counter (the same types of meds she had already tried), so her condition has not improved despite multiple visits. I recently visited Eastlake Urgent Care, and the staff there treated me very well, gave me a battery of tests, and answered all my questions and worries in a way that made me feel respected and heard. All the staff there --especially Daisy, the provider that was assigned to me-- were caring, concerned, and intelligent. I highly recommend them; I have seen a lot of different providers over the years, and they are superior!
