To add to Donna C's remarks, I have had 4 doctor's appointments during this time and am schedule for Surgery. It will be very difficult to survive with no A/C. Not that this company cares or goes the extra mile to give the repairs the American Home Shield promised and I paid for.
My mother's AC stopped working on night of August 10th. Mom called AHS on August 11th and they contracted Eastern Shore H & A but since closed on weekends, received the request on August 12th. They came out on August 13th, identified the reversing valve solenoid as bad which was blowing her 3 amp fuse. Today is August 24th and no AC or part replacement. Do not recommend. If you have American Home Shield, request a different vendor.
So to start, My AC unit wasn't working well. It wasn't blowing air and it wasn't cool. Tech showed up and Replaced the condenser, it worked at the time. My wife was home and paid for the service. The next day it stopped working, Tech came back out and it was very fast. Claimed my Unit was bad and was going up. They put in a proposal for a new unit.
