I recently started going & have appointments with my family doctor, Dr. Blonde, at the Eastern Ottawa Community Family Health Center, and I have to say—it was/is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a healthcare professional. Dr. Blonde is incredibly kind, friendly, professional, and attentive. She truly takes the time to listen and explain things thoroughly, and she’s extremely meticulous in her care. This is the second Dr experience at this clinic. I have had many frustrating experience at this clinic with calling into the clinic and trying to get an appointment or being held on hold for more than 20 mins. Being told they forgot me. I am asked constantly why I want to see the dr. I thought it was personal and private! The secretary is very rude! And this one secretary makes it where you don't want to go to the clinic. I probably wouldn't have given a 2 star review last year but how can I not now... The last few years the service at the clinic has deteriorated terribly.. My doctor has been in and out of the clinic for extended periods and obtaining care during their absences was not consistent, all that would be forgivable but now my doctor has left the clinic and this Community Health "Team" is abandoning all of their patients.
