No not seamless, more like unseemly. – I'm in Banking Hell because of this merger and nobody from Eastern Online Bill Pay seems at all sympathetic. Basically, I could not see or change scheduled Wainwright online payments after the transition and my payees weren't there either, despite the fact we were told this would be the case. The logical assumption was that things did not carry over. Rather than mess with my due dates (or my good credit) we took several hours to reprogram our payees and reschedule all of our bills. Not a seamless merger – Wainwright Bank and Trust had a great reputation as a community bank; however, it has now merged with Eastern Bank. The merger was less than seamless with multiple problems merging their online banking systems. Carryovers from Wainwright lost payors, created confusion on transitional payments, failed to carry over activity for half of the month, bill payer could not be accessed on Explorer.
