Great Experience! I got both my dress and bridesmaids dresses from East West Bridal and had an amazing experience there from start to finish. They were extremely helpful in finding THE dress and working with my bridesmaids who lived across the country from the bridesmaid dresses. I received many compliments on both mine and the bridesmaid dresses at the wedding!
I would recommend to anyone I had a great experience at East West Bridal. I would particularly recommend Elyse, when trying on gowns. She is the person I dealt with - so I can only speak about my experience with her. The first time I went in, they told me to pick 5 or so dresses and hang them on the rack. They gave me a corset type bra to put on (because I wasn't in the right undergarments for my try on). Bad Attitude! I gave East West Bridals a call today to find out if they had a particular dress in stock. I was immediately given attitude by a very rude man. I am assuming by previous comments regarding the owners behavior, that this was Gary. He let me know that because he was not ordering any more samples from the Essense of Australia line, that he would NOT order my dress (A little background = this is THE dress, there is no need to try it on, there is no need to play around. DON'T EVEN CONSIDER IT, WORST BRIDAL SHOP IN NJ!!!!!! This is the absolute WORST bridal shop in New Jersey.. Gary, the owner is obnoxious, cheap and an all around bad person. He doesn't care at all for brides, bridesmaids or anyone who isn't lining his pockets. New location This store moved into this mall from a larger store on Secaucus Road. I went here a few times with my sister when looking for gowns and didn't find anything but there is always a next time. The owner Gary is a funny guy.
Owner is wacky My friend got her wedding gown here and my girls got there bridesmaid dresses here. They do good work and get the dresses in a timely fashion. The owner Gary is a little wacky, but harmless. Prices are pretty good. Gary gives discounts on future purchases if you get your wedding dress from him.
So many dresses- a must for any bride to be! I enjoyed my experience with East West Bridals so much while I was choosing my wedding gown. They don't rush you, offer suggestions (if you ask) and give honest opinions. Let's face it your mom and your best friend are going to love anything on you...honest opinions matter with the most expensive gown you'll ever own. So much selection! Came to this store and was able to try on so many different kinds of wedding dresses; they seem to carry every possible style. The staff is friendly and very open with their opinions and very helpful. The prices are definitely very competitive. Not only do they have a wide variety bridal gowns, but they carry a very large selection of bridesmaids dresses and mothers dresses. Another great thing about this store is you only need an appointment on Sunday.
