On September 3rd, my 82-year-old mother underwent cataract surgery. Despite her slight dementia and pronounced phobia of needles, hospitals, and surgery, she received exceptional care from the staff at East Valley Peaks Surgery Center. James, the anesthesiologist, played a particularly pivotal role in ensuring that my mother’s experience was as minimally traumatic as possible. We extend our sincere gratitude to all the professionals who provided compassionate and professional attention throughout the procedure.
This is an assemble line of out patient surgeries. You really feel like a number. They also ignored my disability and I was out the door so quickly after coming out of anesthesia. The gauze & patch applied over my eye for surgery was over my mouth onto my lips too. The “recovery” lady had me crumple it up and then told me to cut it when I got home. My boyfriend has been here for lens replacement and for retinal surgery. Every body here has ALWAYS been compassionate and professional. We got checked in quickly and then he was taken away for his procedure. We we given detailed instructions for post op care. Very pleased with the facility and the staff. Highly recommend this place.
No postoperative follow-up they said they were going to call me never got a call. I am having issues.
The surgical staff is top-tier! The reception staff is a little stand offensive. I felt I was just a number, not a person. They didn't tell one person they would be waiting for an hour past your appointment time to be called for preparation work before surgery. Just how I felt.
