ALL the staff are so sweet and nice and really care about each and every student. The classes are small so they are able to spend more time with each student. The school is very clean with each student doing their part. My daughter is thriving so much and loves her teachers. I would HIGHLY recommend this school if your child is having issues with school or grades. They do not care what you look like or how you dress as long as it's appropriate. My son has attended the school since he was a freshman and now he is a junior. The teachers keep us very well informed of his progress on a regular basis and his principal is very active in his life. I believe this school has been the best choice for my son. The school its self is always very clean and they are all invested in the students future.

We are beyond grateful for this school! Mr. Lapic and the staff at East Texas Charter are amazing! They transformed my son’s high school experience into one that he will always remember! They make their kids feel so welcomed and loved! Not one child falls through the cracks and goes unnoticed! They helped my child to redeem the potential in himself that was once thought to be lost. We could never thank East Texas Charter enough for all that they have done for him! This school is heaven sent!!
East Texas Charter School has been a blessing to our son and our family for two years now. It is such an encouraging, affirming, safe environment to learn and grow. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a caring school with a personal touch.
Young people have a positive atmosphere, personal attention and are held to personal responsibility...wonderful teachers and leadership.
