Patients are seen at scheduled appointment times, and our recovery counselors provide continuous group meetings throughout the day. Dr. Catney is board certified in Addiction Medicine, and board certified in Family Medicine. He has completed residency training in Family Medicine, and Fellowship training in Emergency Medicine. He has over 20 years experience. We are serious about recovery at East Tennessee Pathways.

I like this doctor's office unfortunately the doctor that I saw left & it's been hard to get an appointment with the doctor because everytime I call it's an answering machine and they don't return phone calls. If you can get an appointment, it's a good place to go they have counseling as required by the state and usually I would sit through the group counseling while I was waiting to see the doctor and get my drug screen. They have reasonable prices. They are not opposed to you being on other medications.
I have seen Dr Catney for years and he is one of the few Suboxone doctors who actually cares about each patient and takes the time to talk to them rather than get as many people in and out like a lot of places do. Also me not having insurance, he doesn’t just write the medicine. If I need blood work or antibiotics he doesn’t charge me a penny more than the Office visit which is very reasonable, and The staff (Jesse and Jake) are very friendly.
Dr Catney is by all hands downs the most caring doctor of all time, who cares about all his patients 100%! along with his staff, Jake! Jess + all the counselors! This is the best recovery system you could ever get involved in. I owe them so much appreciation for saving my life!!💯💯
