awful.awful. Do your own research on insurance billing. I came to East Tennessee Endodontics for a root canal. I have decent dental insurance. After the preliminary quote I decided to put off scheduling services (I wasn't in extreme pain) so I could pay in cash. I finally was able to schedule my root canal and paid my ~$700 in full. I had to return the next day because I had a complicated canal system, they offered free analgesia that day. Root canals can be really scary....especially if you don't have any idea what they actually are. The Doctor made me feel less afraid. He asked me if I had any questions and answered them without making me feel dumb for not knowing about Endodontic Therapy. He told me he didn't want me to hurt and then did the root canal in 45 minutes. I didn't hurt at all! Everyone there is really friendly and made me feel like family.
