Lulu's love affair with coffee goes back to when she was a young girl drinking espresso after dinner with her Grandfather Luigi and with her father William at his luncheonette. Her father, known as Willie Mac, owned and operated a much loved business in New Haven where she worked. ate wonderful food and drank dark, fresh coffee which was freshly roasted daily at McDonalds Roasters on Chapel Street. Nestled in an old white clapboard house, this pint-sized coffee sanctuary somehow squeezes more character into its 400 square feet than establishments triple its size. Cute little shop. I ordered a 12oz mocha that was very yummy and light!
What a great use of such a small space for this coffee shop! I was greeted with a smile and the latte was deliciously made with good quality coffee ☕️ 🙌 There are nice food items on the menu that are mindfully created and not processed. The display of baked goods is inviting to taste. I highly recommend supporting this small business located in the heart of East Rock in New Haven, CT 😉
