I had a very disappointing experience at Pediatric Associates in Pompano Beach. I took my son to the 11:30 a.m. appointment because he had a terrible cough. The pediatrician said he needed antibiotics. However, by 4:30 p.m., the pharmacy still hadn’t received any prescription. It's a shame that a pediatrician who treats children can't even smile when she sees a baby arrive. If you notice the baby crying and won't let you, you have to find a way for the baby to allow you to examine him, but she did nothing with a sour face. I came here for an emergency, and it will definitely be the last. They should have a protocol that restricts doctors from treating people with such long nails. The first impression of the location is great. There is plenty of parking. The walkway leading to the suite could use some renovation as it is not a smooth trail and can be considered a trip hazard. Inside of the office it seemed nice. The young man, Christian, attending the front desk was very kind, and his smile was infectious. The contractors who clean after hours could probably do a better job. The doctor is kind and the nurses are attentive.
