This place on East Bay serves delicious Dim Sum. Plenty of tables ensure you don't wait too long for a seat. The staff is cordial and chats jovially as they take your orders. The Steamed Fish is another recommended dish to treat your taste buds. Parking can be a problem due to space constraints. But with great food and low pricing, they can be forgiven that.

THE location for dim sum in the East Bay I've been coming here for a few years now, they have delicious fresh Hong Kong style seafood. Good service and great food, I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good dinner in a bright festive atmosphere. The wait isn't too long because there are a lot of tables. Good for bigger parties.
My husband and I tried East Oean after we read the reviews about the restaurant; all the good reviews are true! East Ocean has fresh seafood, excellent preparation, and reasonable pricing! Highly recommended! This place becomes our favorite Dim Sum place. To beat the crowd, we just go in early on the weekends. The parking is easy to find around the restaurant.
Pretty good food and service, but not that trusty – The food is pretty good. The service is pretty good too. Our families love to go there for dim sum and dinner. Unfortunately we got disappointed after our recent visit... they didn't do what they state on their ads. On TV and magazine ads, they state that "free lobster for the next visit if you have spent $188 for dinner there from Monday thru Friday." On Thursday, we went there to celebrate granny's 96-year-old birthday, and we spent $400+. After we paid the bill, we didn'... read more
My east bay dim sum choice Has all the usual choices and always on good rotation. Big enough restaurant that it's never too long a wait to get a table if it's the busy weekend. Plus, easy parking all around (unlike O-town chinatown).
Best Dim Sum in the East Bay – We've tried the other recommended Dim Sum places (including Peony) - they don't stack up to East Ocean. Seldom a long wait (plenty of table space) on the weekend. The food is absolutely wonderful and the wait staff is always nice. The greeters are always jovial and seat patrons very quickly.
