I can't even begin to describe the terrible treatment my mother is receiving. My entire family is doing everything we can to get her out of there.
RecommendedMy mom has been there for 7 years after suffering a horrible stroke. She requires a lot of care and I am grateful to say that she is loved and cared for. The activities and events do not compare to what is offered in other nursing homes. They are truly our other family.
Before my mother even passed away, her items were bagged up and thrown into bags while she was in the hospital on life support. I also haven’t even gotten a phone call or a card or anything since her passing in September. I really expected something, anything, to acknowledge the loss of one of their residents that was there for 2+ years. I got nothing. NOTHING. While she was there, the care was mediocre some days, and some days great. I really think they should consider reaching out to the families of loved ones who pass.
Friendly and professional staff! Clean, organized, etc. They know what they’re doing here!

I’ve attended several fundraisers at East Neck over the last several years and have been following your FB page! In this difficult time, I want to commend the staff for all they are doing to keep everyone safe. They are caring, professional, and hard working. Be well East Neck!

They are dirty, soiled diapers left on the radiator, smelly and don’t check on patients enough. When patients are ready for hospice they don’t release them. One of the worst nursing facilities I have ever seen.
Mom has been in long term care for over a year now, and was at the rehab before that.. Care has always been loving and kind. Her CNA,Tanisha is amazing, and mom loves and appreciates her. Mom is always immaculately clean and cared for. The paint her nails and keep her well groomed, as she's always liked to be. <3
