So professional, so friendly and such a brilliant team. The hospital feels warm and dare I say it hospitable.

It's a really nice hospital with a garden area where you can go outside while waiting (unlike the Royal Infirmary where they prevent the patients from having some fresh air or relax in a green environment). The people working here are also very kind and helpful. However, people still smoke in front of the non-smoking signs at the entrance some times and the staff don't seem to even try to enforce the rules so I'm taking away one star. Rude and dismissive nurses, with no respect or dignity in their treatment—felt more like a power trip than care. A real shame, as the building is lovely and peaceful. Thankfully, the two male reception staff were kind and helpful—much appreciated

my 91yr old dad arrived on 23\8\22, from the royal to recover after a broken hip. i left that evening in absolute awe of ward 4. the questions asked were not just medical but they really wanted to get to know my dad as a person, i felt on cloud nine when i left knowing what amazing hands my dad is in at the moment. to all on ward 4 i thank you!hmmmm5 years on, after a lot of clarity I scrub all said as of 2025 , not sure how to delete, not tech savvy but , yeah scrub that review.
