It's their policy to "see you" every 90 days to refill prescriptions as per "Nicole". For the "Follow ups" No labs needed, no notes on files, so they can't tell you what the visit is for. In Florida, it is generally illegal for a clinic or doctor to charge a separate fee specifically for writing a prescription or a refill and this is exactly what they are doing. Also, if you have a lifestyle disease, get a specialist. All this clinic has is a high turnover of Nurse Practitioners.
Made my first doctor's appointment in 20 years. Everyone in the office was cordial and pleasant. The NP arlein was amazing. I Explained my situation and expressed how I was already overwhelmed. She took the time to address everything without making me feel anxious. She explained how the process was going to work and what I should expect in my follow up.
I don't recommend it. The receptionists treat patients very poorly. You can also call and they never answer. Look elsewhere.
Lady who booked my appointment last week booked my appointment for 3:30 even though I told her I was a new patient left work 2 hours early to make this appointment when I called them an hour before to confirm their address they said they wouldn't see me because I was a new patient. I never thought I'd say this because Dr. Ly has been my doctor for 18 years but his office hours are horrible for working individuals. His front office staff need further training as they NEVER answer the phone. And when I finally get called its mixed information.
