Do not under any circumstances come here for mental health treatment. If you are admitted here against your will, tell them you need to make a phone call and call a lawyer immediately. This place will pump you full of unnecessary and unsafe sedative medication that will make you lose weeks of your life. They will keep you there just to bill your insurance and then refuse to release your medical record to you or your health provider. Or do you guys only do that to white people?
Met with doctor briefly who called Hawaiicares who asked pointless questions was referred to another doctor Anne cox who was an hour away who was told that the reason I was referred to her was because I had a manic episode which was not true 8 attempted suicide when I told her this she didn't seem concerned or ask for further details it is true what everyone says the medical treatment in Hawaii is horrible
Dr Ann cox of east Hawaii mental health is the worst. Dr I have ever met. Her and her Staff are very unprofessional. After a life time of depression I made a big step to get the help I need And was referred to her via east Hawaii. Her appointments felt rushed lasting only 10 minutes. She dose not take the time to listen to the patient and dictates the conversation. She takes things personal and can’t separate her feelings from her profession.
