Our water heater broke and we needed a new one. I called many places to get quotes and understand the process and finally reached Bob who helped me get the water heater I was looking. Our technician Jeff came and was very honest and friendly and let me know what we needed and how we can improve our system, etc. Jeff and Jim then came to do the work and they were very professional and got everything working for us. Look forward to working with the team again in the future.
East Hartford Heating and Cooling has been wonderful both times we've called them. The first time, one of our tenant's cast iron radiators had a non-repairable crack, and East Hartford Heating and Cooling worked with us to decide if we wanted to completely switch to HVAC, keep the old system and purchase a brand new radiator or find a second hand one that they could install. I'm very disappointed; as a Townie I really wanted to support a town business. My review is only of the estimate process. I want to make it clear, I only made it as far as the estimate and no work was performed. I cannot in good conscience recommend getting a quote here as I found it just a waste of time. I do not appreciate having my time wasted. I felt a deliberate lack of transparency which raises red flags for me. There is a difference between an estimate and an actual quote. They were fast to respond when my furnace wasn’t working. Same day repair on the weekend. Explained what was happening every step of the way as they were fixing it, resolved the issue on the first visit, and the price was very reasonable.
