Great place to rent. Fantastic complex. There's a reason why not many units are ever available to rent here. The building appears to be constructed well. The grounds are meticulously kept. Maintenance is fantastic. Maintenance personnel promptly arrive to address any issues you might have with the apartment. Since the complex is set back from the main roads, the units are incredibly quiet, sometimes too quiet. You do NOT get what you pay for The lobby doors do not actually lock. I had my packages stolen only to find out that the cameras are just props. There is NO maintenance staff, good luck you are on your own. I was handed over a dirty apartment got no response. Parking is a nightmare.there is no noise control policy and you will get emails about noise constantly. PoC be warned Anita will be rude for no reason just angry and rude.
Looks nice, nothing actually works I lived here for two years and things were off to a rocky start even before I moved in. I was told that the dryers were electric and I neglected to look for myself, so when I moved in, I had to get rid of my washer/dryer because they had the wrong hookups. From the first night onward I had the worst sleep in my life. Caveat emptor So many issues in this complex. Look beyond false reviews and old photos... There are structural issues, sanitary issues, issues with following guidelines, alarms, serious turnovers and a lack of upkeep and awareness to issues here. If you have even a low standard for acceptable living quarters do yourself a big big big favor and do better. Just look at the amount of availability and that should tell you a lot. If you have a problem there’s no where to go with it.
Love it here! We just moved here in September after being in a completely horrible situation with our last apartment. Words can not express how happy we are here! Our apartment is BEAUTIFUL and I just feel so at home here. Great find Apartments are spacious, well maintained, and a great price. Management is sometimes hard to get a hold of, however the on-site manager is great! Would definitely recommend East Gate of Nutley.
