I had a dental emergency and East End Dental was the only place open at the time. I’m so glad they were, because it was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had with a dentist. They went above and beyond and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Zaidi is an absolute gem. She owns the practice but is also incredibly hands-on, always available and willing to help, especially when someone is dealing with an emergency. I had a great experience at East End Dental Centre! I went in for a hygiene check, and I really loved the environment it was clean, welcoming, and very comfortable. The hygiene treatment was done very thoroughly and professionally. They took my X-rays carefully and explained everything clearly, including pointing out my cavities and what steps I should take next. I hate to do this, but I am pretty disappointed with the cleaning job. She told me I had tartar buildup and pregnancy gingivitis (makes sense since I missed my last cleaning) and yet the whole cleaning session took under 20 minutes. Normally when I get my teeth cleaned, it takes about an hour. Felt very rushed and inadequate. I will probably go somewhere else in a few weeks for a more thorough job. I had an emergency tooth extraction and it was honestly a great experience. I am typically very nervous going to the dentist. The receptionist was a super reassure individual who was there to help me remain calm. The dentist was super mental and kind and even tested to see if the freezing had set in.
