I implore all potential buyers to exercise caution when considering this dealership for your purchase. While the initial sale was smooth thanks to Julio's knowledge and ease of interaction, the experience unfortunately declines thereafter. I definitely recommend east coast trailers. Adam did a great job getting the trailer I wanted an had the trailer and all paperwork ready to go first thing the next morning. He covered every detail of the trailer with me and was very courteous and to polite. Any trailer business I do from now on will be done with these folks.
I hate having to write a negative review but feel obligated to make others aware of my situation. I bought a new open deck aluminum trailer that had a significant shake and went back to the dealer twice. Both times they gave it back to me stating it was fine. So, that’s three times including when I towed it off the lot the first time that it was not close to being right. Good people. John will let you know what it really needs to work right. They can fix any this you do to bust it.
1) Don't sell a trailer they have promised to hold til the customer could get there, 2) offer more than a free spare tire on a new trailer (priced $1,400 more) to make up for their mistake, 3) don't hire idiots who make East Coast Autos and Trailers look like they use "bait and switch" tactics, and 3) if there is an internal "no hold" policy on inventory, make sure all the knuckleheads who work there know that.
