The emergency waiting room is filthier than the down town jail. And so is the rest of this bio hazard dump. The staff hate you and they hate their jobs. Don't go here go anywhere else. Your life depends on it.

My experience at Ratner was beyond awful. Save your time and go somewhere else. I waited over 6 weeks to get an appointment for my 4 month old baby. I showed up on time, with an alert happy baby. Almost immediately, I was brought into a room, and then proceeded to wait for over 90 minutes to be seen. At 1 hour I said something, at which point a student resident came in and I asked to see the doctor. Expert witness on behalf of Johnson and Johnson in the baby powder lawsuit, Dr. Saenz has an ego you don’t want to mess with, it could result in a shorter life as I believe is happening to me. I arrived at the emergency area at 9:30, with a lot of dizziness, I'm still here, all the people who were when I arrived have already passed and they continue to pass other people, I asked how long they will pass me because I feel very bad, and the nurse only told me that 45 minutes or more, she didn't even care that I told her that I was feeling super bad. And I'm still here, waiting, much longer than three hours.

Dr. Dever is unprofessional and doesn’t care about the patient’s health at all. Wasted 3 months just to see him via tele appointment and he canceled it the last minute. Got rescheduled, waited for another month just for it to be canceled the last minute also. Unbelievably unprofessional!!!

If I could give no star I would!! Do not go to this clinic.... you are just a number! Dr. Ellis is lazy and depends on clerical and interns to do his work. He was very unprofessional and yelled at me due to his office not communicating with me. If you actually want a true MD and not a student or intern to be your doctor stay away from UC San Diego.

This is a terrible place to give a birth. Please don’t go there to have your baby. Your baby will be born with injuries like my baby. They scarred my baby’s beautiful face. We tried to contact later and they didn’t call us for more than 6 months and they said that’s not their faults. It seems like they don’t care that my baby got injured. ++ Those answers they copy and paste here was the exactly what we got 7months ago. And they called us in 6 months. Never in my life have i dealt with such rude and heartless people. Went to the pain clinic today. Appt at 3. Got there at 3:01 and they said i was supposed to get there at 2:45 for check in. Well i didnt know that. So they said they needed to talk to doctor and ask him if he would still see me. 40 minutes later some guy comes out and says doctor cant see me. Horrible. Most disorganized systems policies practices. Its a DIY hospital- do it yourself. Bring your own supplies, but not your own medicine b/c they LOSE IT! No protocols, protections or follow through. No knowledge of state health laws or patients' rights. different nurse every shift / every day. no consistency. goodness help you on discharge. completely incompetent case workers. Avoid this Hospital !!
