I lived in a Goldmark Property in Minneapolis. In 2023 my husband died very suddenly of cancer. While he was in hospice I was diagnosed with a spinal fracture and underwent several hours of surgery. I contacted Goldmark and told them my circumstances and they "agreed" to let me out of my lease. If I could give them a zero stars I would. I moved in with the dream of starting over in moorhead that turned me into one targeted individual. Watch your bank account and credit cards oh sure they come off helpful at first but if you make it through the homeless camped in the halls,the cockroaches that make it impossible to have decent furniture let alone let you sleep every dollar you have will be watched until the court system is rigged even if you have receipts showing you paid for the whole year and a half. I'm a 54 yr old man who was just evicted from Eagle Run Apts. I had an unforseen medical issue that took me out of work for 3 wks in April. Short term disability failed me. CARES homeless prevention failed me. I went to court on June 14, already knowing my fate. Jen. 11/7/23 the second floor laundry room flooded for 30 minutes until it was dripping from the first floor’s ceiling. Water was shooting from the wall onto the dryers. We called the emergency number within the first 10 minutes of the leak and we’re put on hold and told “we will try to get someone out there”. No one came until the water finally set off the fire alarm and the fire department stopped the leak, so in reality management did nothing while the apartment complex flooded for 30 minutes. It's too bad you couldn't put negative five up there to charge me $400 for a trike small box of computer tower and the rocking chair and half a table it took the guys maybe 15 minutes to take it up because I sat and watched him the reason I didn't is because I'm disabled they should really be proud of themselves for taking advantage of disabled people 175 for paint touch up which was only pin holes it took maintenance about 10 minutes at the most to cover them hey charge me $275 for an hour of cleaning so they're pretty well... read more

trashy unhonest will never call you back be prepared to get unexpected charges had to sign 2 leases apt i was moving into still wasnt finished so many things i could say they never let you know what is up till last min i signed my lease and few motnhs down the road they come up with suurprises nevbr letting me know a thing never rent from these people im about to take legal action been harassed and taken advantage of soon as you sign the lease there gone never go thru them
