RecommendedI like the food at the Diner. The salad dressings are amazing and the food is yummy with good portions.
I haven't had one thing off the menu that wasn't great. And omg, the corn casserole! Best I've ever had.
It is so nice to step into East Bremer Diner and know that you will be greeted by a familiar face, smile, and a "glad you're here". Matt and his staff have created a welcoming ambiance that is very rare to find anywhere. It puts the family back into family dining experience. The food is good, service is fantastic, and they go out of their way to make you comfortable through the entire experience. We are very fortunate to have EBD in Waverly.
Great food and service at reasonable prices
Stopped in for some broasted chicken. The chicken was not fresh...had to of been made earlier and reheated. Both the chicken and broasted potatoes were so very, very dry. 🙁
on Sunday we had a cousins reunion. When making reservations we were told to wait until 1:30, then we could have an area for our party of 13. we ended up having to go up a long flight of stairs to the loft. several people had a hard time because most are elderly. Had to go up and down to the buffet. Buffet was pretty diminished and not replenished. Several did not get chicken and other items and they refused to make anymore. I am a coffee drinker. The Butler/Clute/Wojtowicz families from Iowa, Minnesota, Georgia and South Carolina say “Thank you so much” for your hospitality Oct. 24. The atmosphere, food and wait staff were first rate (Oh, my, the pies!!!). We had made reservations for a relaxed family meal of reminiscing following a graveside service in Greene and were treated with grace, respect—and even a little bit of fun. We were small in number but big in talking, so thanks for your patience. I’m pretty sure the Iowa/Minnesota bunch will be back!
I worked there for over 10 years..the meticulous they put in their Recipes is second to none...the 3 cheese pasta with chicken is awesome, the homemade pizza's are great..but gotta love the home breaded onion rings..and nothing beats their Prime Rib, it melts in your mouth..and while you wait for this great food you get home style salad and home made dressings with home made rolls..i can go on and tell you about the deserts, but i'll let her pies speak for themselves..definitely the best spot in town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Super friendly staff Yummy soup of the day and sirloin steak sandwich was seasoned perfectly very tasty
