The atmosphere was wonderful, and our server friendly. I had the chicken strips and they were some of the best I've had. Plenty of white meat with just the right amount of crispy breading. I'll be going back!
Took our kids and grandkids for lunch to the Diner today. Our kids knew exactly what they wanted but for us, only our second time there, it was hard to choose because they have so many great choices. Everything was delicious and the portions were good sized. Our waitress didn't miss a beat. Very efficient!! Plus the cost didn't "break the bank" and was very reasonable for our table of 8. Matt, the owner, visited our table and is a very pleasant young man! We hope he has many successful years at the Diner.
We have eaten there often, it is the only nice sit down restaurant in Waverly. The food is a notch above average but not by far. Stick to the basics when ordering and you will be satisfied. The chicken fried steak is hubby's favorite. The waitstaff is very attentive despite the persistent rumor that some female waitresses may solicit tips for more than good table service.
East Bremer Diner has best food in town. Yummy Yummy Yummy. There Pizza is AWESOME,AND EVERYTHING ELSE ALSO
Best garlic salad dressing I have ever had! Love the French onion soup too.
I will always love the diner. Having been a server from 2002 when they opened thru 2005 I've had everything on the menu and it's all wonderful! I look forward to my times back in Waverly so that we can stop by and eat at the diner again
Large portions, good service, nice decor, pretty good bar with a reasonable, if not large beer selection. But I get really tired of shredded iceberg with purple cabbage and carrots being passed off as "salad."
Love the salad dressing. Always good service. Great atmosphere.
