At least I made it to the hospital safe. I made an emergency call for help due to trouble breathing. I was hospitalized the week before and taken to the ER. Exemplary service was provided during that experience. The second call for help was a disturbing experience, however. Two young white females showed up to my home. Upon their arrival, my breathing was short, labored, and very obvious. The driver began to ask several questions, which were repeat questions already answered during the 911 call. I was billed $2300+ for a 5.3 mile ride in an ambulance. Pricey for sure. Seems like billing high to get the insurance money to pay for a new building is extortion.
