East 9 Pickwick Plaza managed by OneCityKC is the worst place I have ever lived. I was a resident from January 2020 and abruptly left early May 2022, (before my lease ended) because the conditions were uninhabitable. I will never recommend this complex while it is in the management (lack-thereof) under OneCityKC. The issue with heat was especially difficult for me because I also work from home, so two space heaters were always running during the day and at night. The old staff made this place enjoyable but with the new management and lack of communication I’m tired of it. The pool has been closed for at least 6 months, the gym went from a first class facility to having one bench press and some dumbbells that can only fit 4-5 people in it at best and the apartment windows don’t open. The windows also build up condensation almost everyday and somehow it’s my responsibility to clean it so it doesn’t cause mold. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
