Our golden retriever was licking his paws raw for months. The vet said it could be allergies and asked about our home air. We never thought of the ducts. Our house is 15 years old. The cleaning crew came and showed us video from inside the vents before they started. There was so much pet hair and dander from past owners, plus fine dust.
