We love Earth & Fire Supply. We buy all of our coal from them and it is easy to use, light, and keeps our house really warm. The owner is very personable and the employees are friendly and efficient. They always take the time to answer our questions regarding heating with coal. They have been very helpful, as this is our first year of supplementing with coal as a heating source. We wouldn't shop anywhere else!

Earth and fire looked like a dump when we walked in and the customer service was not the best but we figured we would give them a chance....bad choice we had to wait weeks just to get them to come out and give us an estimate then when they finally came back they left for 3 hours to get the parts, when they came back it was raining they said they would call the next day to schedule to come out again...never did....while waiting that week week in a half and calling multiple times, the temperatures went down in the 20s it was f... read more

Bought their bagged rice coal from a local hardware store twice. First time the bags had so much water in them it took over 10 min. to run out. One bag had a large chunk of coal in it which jammed up my feeder. The second time, size was different, was more like buckwheat then rice. Did not feed correctly in my stove. Had to fight with the whole bag. Their product is not consistent. Not recommended for a self feeding stove.
