Stopped in for a quick pint and a sandwich and was not disappointed. Slim pickings on the taps but they are in the midst of an expansion so I can't really hold that against them. Pork Belly L.T. sandwich was very tasty as was my belgian pale ale. Would return if ever in the area again.
The food was good and the staff were very nice. The beer was horrible. I know this brewery is different than other craft brews in the area, but there is a reason Water, hops, yeast and barley work. Cheers for trying new (or medieval old) methods, but it's not for me.
Great people. Great food. Great brews. What more can you ask for?!
Visiting from WI on business and stumbled upon this awesome local joint. So glad I did! Enjoyed live acoustic music and an imperial stout and a cozy atmosphere.
They offer of mix of their own brews and examples from other local sources. The are especially known for a variety of beverage called a gruit, a beer like drink that replaces hops with local vegetation. Gruit rhymes with do it. Try it, you won't rue it.
Craig and I absolutely enjoyed this brewery. The women know so much about the process used there and the various ingredients thAt achieve the tastes desired. I learned about and tasted fruits. I enjoyed the IPA and Craig had this pineapple beer. Very good. The decor was reallY fun. I recommend it. The only downside is there is no parking. So walk there if it is a busy summer day.
