Silly Me !!! – I should have done my research prior too.......!!! Had I read these reviews prior too,I would have probably wasted neither my time nor $$$ !!! Skip it. – What a let down. It's a shame this restaurant is included in the Dine Around Seattle list. Usually I give some slack to restaurants serving the cheap seats with the $30 deal but I at least expect to enjoy one course. Tonight, my friend and I dined at this odd place. Earth & Ocean - good bar Really fun bar and place to sit and people watch. It is amazing what you can see. One time we got in the middle of a photo shoot from some large organization as they stood on the stairwell. It was great fun.
don't miss this one One of downtown's outstanding places to eat. Some of the best wait staff you're likely to find, and their menu is totally unique. Presentation is key here - everything is stunning, and the tastes blend outstanding flavors that keep up each time.
Earth & Ocean I love this restaurant! the food is great, very creative presentation, delicious choices on the menu. The staff are very attentive to your dining needs. The soups and desserts are wonderful. Parking is really expensive at the hotel, use the librarr parking lot~just south of the Hotel W. Anytime you have the chace, try this Earth and Ocean.
Very poor service – We actually had a very poor experience at the restaurant. We went there for the Father?s Day brunch ? and I won?t even exaggerate if I say that it was ruined (even though the food was delicious). We got seated right away, - the restaurant was I would say 20% full on Sunday morning (our reservations were at 10:30 AM). But after that our experience when downhill. Terrible service, flippant attitude – Based upon City Searches information for Easter Brunch, we made reservations and confirmed Easter brunch would still be served at the time we were able to attend. When we arrived, there was no Easter brunch, we had 3 or 4 different servers who could not have cared less and couldn't be bothered to bring anything we requested such as butter for our toast. Worst food, major attitude from staff, this place should go out of business – We went for New Year's Eve with two other couples. First, they had sat our party behind the hostess bar, I truly believe this could not be the normal set up. We were right next to the fire exit door, and a thin wall protected us from the bar area, which was booming house music.
