The surgery he did on my sister's hand was unnecessary. He was rude and denied that the numbness and pain she now has could possibly have to do with the rod he placed in her body. He walked into exam room did not introduce himself, slammed the stool into the exam table and proceeded to insult both her and my brother in law when they asked any questions. We will be seeking a second opinion.
Horrible communication skills and makes the parent of a child (patient) feel restricted from asking pertinent questions. A colleague of his told me (after I complained) that he is a skilled dr but has a poor bedside manner. It's not really about Dr Earl as it is the wait time you sit there. Both times I waited, 45 minutes the first time and an hour this last time. People do not have disposable time to sit in the waiting room. If your appointment time is 11, you shouldn't be sitting in the front waiting room at 11:45. It's so frustrating.
Dr. Earl is a wonderful surgeon. I would not go to another doctor. If I go to the Emergency Room, then see Dr. Earl then next day...he knows all about why I went...he is extremely detailed. I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful doctor.
Horrible bedside manner. Rushed and rude. Would not trust him. When I asked for a 30-day Rx to take to the pharmacy while I await my mail-in Rx to arrive, he said sarcastically, Sweetheart, it only costs $4 so you don't need to do mail in. WOW! Sweetheart? ...and telling me I don't need to do mail in.
