My Mom recently broke her hip and after a month in a rehab facility they sent her home with PT to be done by Assured. They said that they would get her back to where she was prior to the fall. From that moment on things have been a clown show with my Mom falling through the cracks. We had to request 3x a week for her which was met with resistance and once approved was only done for 2 weeks. Then back down to 2x a week for a couple of weeks, and then to 1x for a couple of weeks. they got us supplies on time but the staff were rude and unproffesional, also they will discharge you without notice or communication, and will lie to you about paying for ambulance bills etc
HORRIBLE!! They do not return calls or call when the patient does not get to the door fast. They lie about the person refusing care! They obviously do NOT put the patient first, they only provide care to perfect patients that do not need professional home care. They DO NOT HAVE compassion or empathy for the elderly. Calvin and Beth are rude and arrogant, and talk poorly about the patients, and to the patient's family members.
Our experience with Christus Home Health began when my father was hospitalized and preferred to go home rather than to an outpatient rehab facility following his discharge. I began my search and spent a long time vetting and calling all the home health options around our surrounding area. From day one Christus have been so helpful with my father. My husband is on EAMC-Lanier Home Health. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied with the care. I have called 3 different times within about 6 months. Requesting for a nurse to assess him for increase swelling in the legs and feet, high blood sugars, fever, and increased weakness. Each and every time I was told “send him to the ER , there’s nothing I can do.” I finally able to actually see a nurse and her usual 15 minutes visit turned into a 85 minute visit. I had a very frustrating experience with Homecall of Annapolis. They were disorganized and provided conflicting and incorrect information to our family. Services for my 95 year old Dad were abruptly terminated due to poor management. I do not recommend this agency.
Poor lies and more lies. Before the truth. My son was very upset as he was told care was stopping because the insurance did not approve. Many phone calls later and the truth was not accurate but of course everyone backs everyone. My son had to get a new home care nurse from another organization. Now seeing the past judgement I am glad.
