I've been in and out of the hospital. And was late on a payment due to being out of work. It's been so cold that the oil ran out a month ahead of my budget. Thanks to E&V policy, I'm the perfect victim to charge extra for a delivery fee. $200+ that I don't have. E&V is a family company! Just don't let this family near your valuables. Good luck when you're in a pinch and it's 15°. They'll be right over to take advantage of the situation, or to let you freeze for 4 days until a driver will wander into my area.
Apparently it is customary to tell customers with a positive balance that they are "busy and maybe we can get to you by the end of the week" Our tanks are empty so no heat, hot water or cooking for a week with 9 month old twin babies in the house. Thanks!
We’ve went with E&V for a number of years and have always paid them for deliveries on an on call basis and now that I’m on 2% they said they need the money up front for a fill after we just gave them 500$ for our previous bill to to keep it up to date and they cannot come out for a week even on an emergency basis. Mind you an emergency call is 300$ for the delivery fee and the cost of 100 gallons minimum and it’s cash only on site!
