182 Claremont has an ongoing (years-long and recurrent) bedbug problem that EK Realty does not inform new tenants about. They refuse to deal with the problem in any effective manner and insist on hiring an extremely low-rated extermination service that uses chemical treatments, which only drive the bugs from one unit to another, meaning that the problem recurs regularly every few months. Terrible experience. The communication was horrible; nobody would get back to us and we had to chase them down. I was told on the phone "Write me an email, I don't have time for you"
The best hands on management team i have dealt with in NYC. Very personable, you call and you actually speak with a real person. If your a tenant and have a problem they are on it. If you are a client and have a problem, they have 25 years NYC real estate management experience.
