Not your new york type of italian deli some food looked not so good
Really exceptional locally owned and operated NY-style Italian deli. Wonderful prepared foods and fresh breads and wine and warm and helpful service!
This place is awesome, food tastes great, I feel like I'm back in Jersey! #30 sandwich is excellent!
We are so lucky to have E.48th Street in our neighborhood. The best canolis I've tasted (even better than the much hyped places in Boston). Great breads. Delicious sandwiches. They have catered for us too on several occasions.
I've been in many Italian grocery stores in many states but this is the best. Try a sandwich, try the pasta, try everything. You'll love it.
