I had a dynasplint for my knee. When the rep came out to bring the splint and show me the proper way to use she also told me that I would be notified prior to insurance stopping the coverage for it. I was notified to send it back and did so in 2 days. Then 3 days later I received a bill in the mail for $248, when I contacted dynasplint I was told that my insurance coverage stoppe the month prior to me being notified and that it was my fault that I did not know. I believe it to be a scam they run to get as revenue as possible... read more

Stay far away from these people. It’s a piece of Velcro and cheap fabric, poorly constructed, hard to use, and they drop extra costs on you, telling me after I’m into it, it costs $225 a month.

These people are money hungry.They find ways to tell you still owe them money.I had 2 splints thur them.I have already paid them over $800.00 I have turned both my splints back in one on July12th and the other on August 5th and they are saying I still owe them $152.00.These people are a joke all they care about is how much money they can get out of you.Shame on them.

I am completely disappointed and shocked at some of this companies policies. If your insurance does not cover this at 100% you may want to not consider paying out of pocket. Since my insurance would not cover this splint I initially agreed to pay a cash rate of $87.50 twice a month while using the splint. After 2 weeks my orthopedic stopped the use of the splint and scheduled me for surgery. I sent the splint back to the company on day 13, before my 1st 2 weeks were even up. July 12, 2021 Dr ordered Dynasplints for my sister's knees that are in severe contracture. Joe Morrow the new rep from Tampa traveled over to Lake Placid, FL to bring the Dynasplints to make sure the therapy / rehab people at Orchid Cove nursing home know how to use the splints to help my sister. Joe took his time and explained it all very thoroughly. Not only that he saved us $ on the rental and is continuing to see if the facility would be able to take over the cost. Our health, both physical and emotional, is so important and finding the correct help is equally as important. After injuring my knee followed by a knee replacement, I found help from my physical therapists along with help of a knee splint from Dynasplint. Kim Withers from Dynasplint fitted me with a splint that was just what I needed to complete the straightening of my knee, she came to my home and followed up with me whenever I needed her support. Defective medical device that my MD was "talked into using" that they now privately bill me for $ 4,000.00. Total scam. numerous BBB complaints, which are useless and more than a few states with settlements and back door agreements to "cease and desist," and stop doing business. Get a lawyer and seek justice from these people.

The unit itself is pretty solid. It helped me get some (not all) mobility back from a badly broken wrist. However, the service side of the business is terrible. I had to push on my Dynasplint Representative to do simple things like follow up with insurance to see where we're at in the process. Because of this lack of communication and lack of care for the patient (me), I did not get my Dynasplint until about 7 weeks after it was ordered. I lost valuable, precious healing time.
