I cannot recommend Johan highly enough! He was recommended to me by a friend and athlete with a similar hip injury to mine. I had been doing PT through my insurance for several months and made no progress whatsoever. Johan was quickly able to find ways to get some relief from the pain and get me moving again. Working with Johan was a great experience. Would absolutely recommend. He helped me recover from ACL surgery and get back to skiing again. I'd come to him feeling frustrated with the lack of attention I got at a large medical system. While there is a standard protocol for recovery, he really tailored it to me, the progress I'd already made, and where I needed to focus more. I spent several months at Dynamic Physiotherapy doing PT after a complicated shoulder surgery. My therapist, Johan, put me through the paces, starting slow post-op and increasing to light-weight training. One of the benefits was the explanations and demonstrations I was given regarding what my muscles and tendons were going through -- something my doctor apparently did not have time to do.
