While they can improve communication on wait times (for online check-in and walk-in), the staff are going above and beyond with what's given (small waiting room and high volume of people). Maen, who drew my blood was amazing! He is so professional and made the whole experience better, even after the wait. I wish they would add more sitting space and the ability to schedule an appointment in advance.
I arrived at the laboratory at 10:30 a.m. — well before their 12:00 p.m. closing time — only to be told by the receptionist that they “wouldn’t have enough time” to do my tests. Her exact words were: “Or if you want, you can wait, but if we don’t see you by 12 p.m., you’ll have to leave anyway.” This is completely unacceptable. I went there when it was super busy (around noon). I was told it would be about a 45 minute wait but only ended up being 30. (I don’t think they use the “wait time” feature anymore because the entire time the screen said 0 minutes, even though there were more than a dozen people in the waiting room) The Dr that saw me was very friendly. He asked if I had a history of fainting, which I did, and I was moved to a room with a bed so I could lay down. The app showed 0 minutes of waiting time and didn’t let me check in early. When I arrived, about 12 people were waiting, and it took 50 minutes for them to take my blood sample. Very unorganized.
