I’ve been coming to this Dynacare on Kent Street for a while now and always have a smooth experience. The wait time is usually under 30 minutes, which is great compared to other locations. The staff are gentle and professional, and there’s plenty of seating. One of my favorite features is their check-in system—they have a TV showing wait times, and they send a text when it’s almost your turn. I always have trouble getting blood taken, but the nurse made me feel calm and comfortable. Greatly appreciate also the screen that tells you your wait times.
The receptionist couldn’t be more rude if she tried. Do not speak to her unless spoken to, and for all that is sacred, do not, I repeat, do NOT mention you also need a urine test unless you want to irk her even more. Yikes. She got more rude to patients as the wait time went on. Nurses were lovely, thankfully.
Not satisfied. They insisted to keeping my original requisition and have it filed, based on their policy (as was told to me). In my next visit, they couldn’t find my requisition in their computer or the hard copy and asked me to send again, with no apologies made for their lack of service and keeping the confidentiality of my requisition. Very cold behavior. It is not clear where my requisition might be!
I believe a lot of the bad reviews are biased against the fact that the CEO of dynacare worked at Boeing during a tumultuous time of corporate espionage for that company. It's not fair and I find the staff here very nice.
