If you miss the long forgotten days of honest car dealers and courteous professionals, run to Gunther Volvo in Coconut Creek. My sales rep Martin was a cut above the rest. He was honest, attentive and lived up to his word. If you like buying cars from a man of integrity, Martin is your guy. I can't express how disappointed I am with this dealership when it comes to service/repairs. I've spent over $3000 in the past few months for repairs on my 2014 Volvo only to have the check engine light come back on weeks after each repair. So it's back to the shop for another "repair" and invoice. When calling to discuss, I was given a sad story about the age of my car and told they could not be responsible for that check engine light , since it could mean any number of things. One might question why as a guy on Long Island, I am going an hour and a half over the bridge to New Jersey to lease my new Volvos. One might ask, why am I driving almost an hour away to this Volvo dealer when there are two dealers much closer to my home. The answer is multi-faceted. I thought the dealership personnel were competent, apparently not. I buy cars every 5 to 10 years and don't expect to know all the rules and procedures. I do expect a dealership to know. My wife and I purchased a used car March 2026. We dealt with a salesman, a manager, and a business agent to complete the paperwork. At no time did anyone ask how the car should be titled.
