This place is fantastic! We're in Newport on a short vacation and one of my rear shocks broke just before I had to go back home. They were able to get me in the same day that we called, and the car was done by the end of the day. They also noticed that I needed new rear brakes and were able to do that for me. Total honesty and fair prices. It's rare that I leave a mechanic feeling like I wasn't ripped off or lied to. I totally recommend Dwyers and I am so appreciative of the work they did on my beloved Subaru! Thank you!

Best mechanic in town. Very personable, timely, respectful and extremely helpful in every aspect. As a military member I really appreciated his support and willingness to help me even though my car was a pain in the ass. I highly recommend point garage to anyone.
I walked in to have them assess a check engine light before a trip back home. They took a look at the car right away, determined it was not an urgent issue, and didn't charge for the assessment. Very kind and fair mechanic!
I had an issue with my hood latch opening unexpectedly. I called Dwyer’s and Mike was able to help me right out! They inspected the latch cable and lubricated the latch mechanism and everything is back to normal. They helped me same day, and didn’t charge me a nickel. So long as I’m in Newport I’m taking my car to Dwyer’s!!!!!!!
