For a furnace with squealing Draft Inducer motor, they claimed few others needs to be replaced, and gave a quote close to $7000, which more than brand new furnace replacement. Extremely unethical. Sometimes things could be pricey, but this is in different league of unethical. Avoid like plague.
I had a friend who purchased a unit from dvac and said that although it took a while for scheduling and installing once it was in there were little to no problems. So I thought it was a safe bet to go with dvac. Unfortunately I completely regret purchasing a unit from dvac and do not recommend this company. My unit is not even 2 years old and the first summer we had some issues and thought it was normal since it was a new unit and installed during the winter. Called to inquire about services as they are the contact listed on my warranty. They said they could schedule in a week then said they would call back when I asked about looking up our warranty. They never called back and I have left 3 messages and tried calling from different numbers. I want to be clear that the man over the phone was super nice and I had no indication or idea that I was about to get ghosted. This company charges for permits and just pockets the money. When contacting them to complete the permits, they haven't completed them, even after multiple months of contacting them.
