The business now known as Dutchtown ACE Hardware began in December 2005 by Scott Dillenback and John Macci. Scott and John were classmates and fraternity brothers in college. Scott was raised in Fort Plain, and John and his son Taylor have been residents of Fort Plain since 2002.
