I would like to give more stars as I’ve found customer service representatives at the Wethersfield and Middletown branches to be very friendly. However, making payments on my loan/account is nearly impossible unless you physically go to a branch. Their “easy” pay option on the website has not been functional for months. Then when you call in to make a payment the phone either disconnects or there is an automated message that says there are difficulties putting the call through. Deposited a certified bank check from another bank and after they deposited it into my account they tell me I have to wait 11 days,doesn’t take 11 days for a personal check to clear.Years ago I went into the bank for a $3000 loan and was denied.One month later I was pre approved for $275,000 loan for a house.That’s says a lot about this bank.Totally disgusted with Dutch Point and when that check clears in 11 days,I’m pulling everything out and going elsewhere
My loan evaluation was flawed due to incorrect assumptions, lack of due diligence, and procedural incompetence. False information was provided to build a case to deny me, prompting me to consider filing a complaint with the CFPB. I have 30+ year history of credit, with a score over 800 and no delinquencies—this credit union’s reasoning didn’t add up.
