I've been here multiple times and I always notice that even though I order the same thing the price is always different and they don't always show me if I want to tip. On my visit today 02/12/26 I did the math and on the app what I ordered was supposed to come out to 22 dollars flat however with a 10% tip it came out to 24 dollars with a few cents and it was a penny away from what I was charged so I believe the baristas are charging tips without asking people. I will start asking for receipts because I never receive them.
This morning I drove from Salinas to the Soledad location and went through the drive-thru to order a kids green apple smoothie with popping pearls for my son. Typically, when ordering this drink, baristas will put it in a small cup so it can have a lid with a wider mouthpiece, making it possible to actually drink the pearls.
