Dustin Lewis Is not qualified to do anyone's appraisal, he undervalued my home refinance appraisal by 40%. A competent appraiser would not miss by 40%. I would not use Dustin, he does not do the work needed in today's world of rising home prices. Why would you risk using Dustin Lewis Appraisal when you have other options. Best of luck, Pete Caye
If you are looking for a highly qualified, selfless appraiser, look no further than Dustin Lewis. He did a great job with the evaluation of my properties. He also stopped what he was doing at another job 30 minutes away to immediately come to help me out on some properties that were under a time crunch and needed to have final inspections done. As a Realtor since 1999 I have always found Dustin Lewis Appraisal Associates to be very good at their job. The are knowledgeable, honest and ethical. I have always found their appraisals to be fair representative of the property value.
I personally would not recommend this company. The appraiser, Andrew, miscalculated the square footage on my house, and stated he can't take land values into consideration in the appraisal. When we got the first report back there were many errors (more than just wrong sqft on my house). I would recommend if your mortgage company uses these guys request someone else.
