I don't hang out there too frequently (because I'm old and lame) But when I do it's always a welcoming environment and you don't find that often. I'm never disappointed I went.
My favorite space in the city. I've seen from rap artists to hardcore punk bands, burlesque and my favorite dance party, Soul Power. While most spaces here you don't get to even meet the owner, Rick is one of those that you'll find at the bar most nights and will sit with you for a drink and conversation, no matter if he knows you or not. Feels like a home away from home, and one of the best community hubs in the city.
I love this place and everyone who works here. Dusk gives so much support and love to the local music scene, regardless of genre. Good drinks, great music, great vibes <3
A wonderful venue in Providence, R.I. HerMajesty was invited to play by Rick Sunderland, the owner, on three different occasions. He was welcoming and treated us with respect, kindness and avid fandom!!! Strongly recommended.
Absolute BEST venue in the area. Always books killer bands and the crowd is YES!!!!
Rick, Danielle, and Dusk staff run a great, intimate venue for music. All cultures are always welcomed. That is what music is about. That is why it is my home. It is an honor to support, attend, perform there. Thank you for all you do. -D
