Very nice, clean hotel. The room was a little on the small side but comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There is a nice bar that is open in the evenings with a decent selection and friendly bartenders. Ample parking in the garage. There's a small eatery next door that has great breakfast burritos. The area around the hotel is very walkable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
I recently used the Pasadena Hotel and Pool to host a five day professional development event for a group of 40 and cannot recommend them enough. Kathy and the sales team were fantastic - super responsive and accommodating of all our needs before, during, and after our event. Andrew and the catering staff delivered wonderful meals for each of our breakfasts and session snack breaks and the servers were all attentive, helpful, and kind. We had a great stay! I know this might get a bit long, but I wanted to share details since so many reviews just say "great stay" and leave it at that — which isn’t very helpful when you're trying to plan. We were in town to see AC/DC at the Rose Bowl and needed a hotel that was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and close to both restaurants/shopping and the stadium. Modern, stylish renovated hotel, but bizarrely lacking in a few things. For example, my room had a lovely giant two-sink bathroom with a beautiful bathtub and large standalone shower. However, there was but one single hook to hang one towel on, and no towel bar; incomprehensible that someone could design the bathroom that way. Also, there was no toilet brush.
